Six gold, two silver and three bronze medals travelled to Ukraine, Hungary, France and Czech Republic, countries which only were presented in muaythai competition of the Arafura Games.
Ukraine became the best team among the European delegation due to victories of Igor Liubchenko in 63.5 kg, Vladislav Mykytas 57 kg, and Oleh Prymachov 91 kg. Viktoria Ivanets added her bronze medal to the overall team result.
The Hungarian duo Norbert Speth and Zoltan made a spectacular appearance in the games claiming two golds in the 67 kg and 75 kg.
Anaelle Angerville secured one gold for team France in 57 kg, whereas Lorenzo Sammartino won silver in the final against Igor Liubchenko in 63.5 kg. The bronze medal went to Nora Cornolle.
Czech Republic 91 kg became the runner up and silver medalist of the Games.
Europe again proved that its athletes are among the strongest in the world and any athlete can be a threat in the ring.
