First Day of Stayki Open Saw 37 bouts

It was a great day for the participants of the Stayki Open 2019 with 37 bouts taking place on two rings of the Olympic Center Stayki in Minsk.

Participants of 8 countries met to test and polish their skills against the host country youth which welcomed all the guests to exchange experience before the Youth World Championships in Antalya.

The opening of the event took place in a true spirit of the youth sports events with kids being in the center of attention perferming Muaythai Anthem and demonstrating elements of Muaythai disciplines Muay Boran as well as Belarus culture.

The Ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Hungary honoured the organisers and their teams visiting the opening and wishing their national team victories. A welcoming word was given by the leadership of the Belarus Muaythai Vice President Anatoliy Simonchyk, 

All the bouts have been a great demonstration of the up and coming stars who gain muaythai experience from the earliest age. Tomorrow the semi-final bouts will narrow the circles of contenders for gold and leave spectators with only best show.
